Wik & The Fable Of Souls

I've usually avoided platform games like the plague, because ever since the early days I just couldn't get into playing them apart from the odd one such as Elf; but that 15 20 years ago was an exception to the rule. Nowadays there are several I could choose from, that, because of their unusual game play and often beautiful graphics, for example Gumboy Crazy Adventures and Gish I've grown to love them.

I only discovered 'Wik and the Fable of Souls' a few weeks ago because I'd been concentration on my reviews over on the 'Game Giveaway of the Day' project site (just google 'gamegiveawayof and you'll get the address. and my $70 games instead of exploring some of the recently released titles apart from my favorite Genre the Arkanoid Game.

Well I have to say this game held me facinated for ages. I bought it before I'd even finished the tutorial session because I felt in my bones this was going to be a great game. I rarely do that, and guess what, I wasn't dissapointed. This game has it all, superb graphics and excellent game play with a very unusual way of moving around.

You have to try this game. It ranks up their in my top ten games at the moment and my collection spans near on a 1000 arcade and $70 games.
